An aspirant to Lokoja /Kogi Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye has promised to offer effective and efficient representation by bringing the dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected.
Aguye, Made the pledge at a media Parley organised by Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ) On Tuesday in Lokoja.
Aguye,a former Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Job Creation and SMEs, said ” I aspire to serve the good people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
“I can assure you that the people of Lokoja/Kogi will never regret chosing me to be the candidate to represent them as accountability, transparency and good representation will be my watchword.
“My intention is to serve through effective and efficient representation and by bringing the needed dividends of democracy to the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency during my tenure as Special Adviser to His Exellency Governor Yahaya Bello.” he said
The house of reps hopeful solicited for the support of journalist who he described as his friends assuring that he’ll not betray them when he emerge as member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency.
In his opening remarks, Chairman of Kogi state Council of Nuj,Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, said the council organised the Parley to create a platform for aspirants from various political parties to enable them tells electorates what the could offer to the people of their Constituents.
