A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Hon. Okutepa Danladi Usman has felicitated with Muslims Ummah as they mark the end of this year’s Ramadan fasting and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri.
Usma in a message he personally signed on Monday, which was made available to THEANALYSTNG, said “As we complete one of the most important religious obligations, I join Kogites and Nigerian Muslim to pray to Allah to accede to all our prayers and accept our fasting as an act of worship.
While admonishing all Muslims, Usman said “It is our hope that the important lessons of personal sacrifice, charity and self-discipline learnt during the Ramadan would not cease to be part of our ways of life in the months and years to come.
He enjoined Nigerians particularly Muslims to use the opportunity offered by the Eid-il-Fitr ceremony to pray for the end of the security challenge in the country and the peaceful and successful conduct of next year’s general elections.
