As the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111, OON, commemorates 30th years on the throne of his forefathers, Sadauna of Kakanda, Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu felicitates with the foremost traditional ruler, describing him as “a symbol of peace, stability, unity and development of his people.”
The Executive Director, Risk Management Directorate, Keystone Bank Limited, notes that the 111th Maigari of Lokoja and Chairman of Lokoja Local Goverment Traditional Council, “remains not only a shining light and custodian of the culture of the Lokoja Emirate, but also a revered monarch whose wise counsel to governments at all levels over the decades, remain invaluable and enduring.”
Aliyu urges the Royal father not to waver in his belief in the unity of his fatherland, but to do all within his power to ensure that his domain remains a model of peace.
He prays that Almighty Allah will endow the Maigari of Lokoja with longer life and wisdom to enable him continue to serve his Emirate, society and humanity at large.
