An aspirant for the Kogi West Senatorial District seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abdulkarim Isah, the Wambai Igu of Koton-Karfe, has assured Lokoja Local Goverment Executives and Stakeholders of a new hope and a rebirth of excellent representation at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly if he is voted into office.
Wambai gave the assurance during his declaration and expression of his intention at the Lokoja APC Executives and Stakeholders meeting on Tuesday, Lokoja.
According to him, if given the mandate, his tenure will be characterised by innovative ideas that will give the people peace, provision of socio-economic development and effective legislative functions.
He said getting a new hand at the helms of affairs in the Senate as representative of Kogi west senatorial district,
“will give birth to better things, a new glory of to the constituency that will be radiantly seen” he said.
Chairman of Lokoja Local Goverment APC, Hon. Maikudi Bature, While welcoming the senatorial hopeful, commended him for carrying the party along during his briefed sojourn as a member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency.
Bature,who presented the aspirant before the Executives, called on them to make personal accessment of all the aspirants before making a decision added that local government party Executives didn’t have a preferred aspirant.
Speaking with our reporter, Hon. Danlami Alfa Albushira, said Wambai as an industrialist, and a season Politician is a philanthropist with a passion to change the current underdevelopment facing Kogi west in the interest of the good people of Kogi west senatorial district come 2023.
The Senatorial Aspirant was accompanied by former Lokoja Local Goverment administrator,Hon. Shiru Lawal,women groups and party supporters .
