Re: Endorsement

By Cadid Ibrahim

Our attention has been drawn to a fake news and cheap propaganda going round about Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye’s declaration to contest for Lokoja / Kogi Federal Constituency seat, with particular reference to his visit to Kogi local Government area on Saturday, where he was received by APC teaming supporters and Stakeholders from the area.

Some pretenders were shocked seeing the level of reception accorded Aguye, instead of joining the wining team they resulted in blackmail by spreading fake news.

This historic visit sent some pretenders to the throne to what I will described as” Fire on the mountain” as they said:”Run ! Run!! Run!!.

It was also alleged that certain Aspirant was endorsed, and that I, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye is among the said beneficiary of the Endorsement,by His Exellency Governor Yahaya Bello. Another Fake news!!!

I want to unequivocally state without missing wards that the word emdosement stinks before our principal His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

It could be recall that His Exellency was quoted as saying that” I will not endorse any aspirant as I will be going to contest primaries with other aspirants which would give Nigerians the right to chose who would led them in the next three year, same thing would be apply in my state. We are going to allow a level playing ground to all our aspirants, whoever has the capability, capacity and popularity should go and test his/ her weight in the primaries there’ll be no Sacre cow and No favouritism.

Kogites will be give every opportunity to nominate who represents them at all levels, not me or anyone subverting their will of the people”

With the above Noble statement from the governor who is the party leader in the state, Hon. Aguye decided to intensify his efforts and mission, which is a call to serve humanity and the good people of Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency.

As loyal party men that we are, we respect and follow stricly the directives of our Leader and Governor,His Exellency Yahaya Bello.

The race has been left open to all Aspirants, hence the reason why we threw our hat into the ring. At this point the delegates will decide at the primaries before the people at the general elections.

We have high respect and regards for everyone aspirant and we are ready to accept the decisions of the delegates at the primaries either in our favor or otherwise,as we did previously.

Let me once more make it clear that Hon. Aguye is not desperate, but ready and we mean business. our aspiration had and will always be about giving our best back to the people.

Whoever is also in the race should meet us at the primaries, but we are certain to come out victorious by the grace of God and the majority of the delegates.

We were at Kogi Koton-Karfe Local Government Area on Saturday 23rd April, 2022 as mentioned earlier to declare and submit our intent letter as required by law and on Monday the 25th of April, 2022 we did same in Lokoja Local Government Area. As such we expect every serious aspirant to be busy doing the right thing as required by law and not peddling unfounded rumours around and cheep propaganda on social media.

It will be in our collective interests to stop politics of character assassination because we will need each other after the party primaries to be able to deliver our great party and candidates in the general elections. We can’t afford to go into the polls with a divided house.

His Excellency,Governor Bello would have held our hand high in public if we were truly endorsed. The time is very limited so we are focused and won’t be distracted by detractors. The destination is the Federal House of Representatives to Represent Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency and inshAllah we will be.
Aguye is coming 2023.
