An aspirant to Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye has promised to offer effective and efficient representation by bringing the dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected.
Hon. Aguye, Made the pledged when he Submitted his Interest letter to the APC , Lokoja Local Goverment Executives at the party Secretariat in Lokoja on Monday.
He assured the Executives that the party would not regret chosing him as the its Flagbearer.
“I can assure you that our great party ,the APC, will never regret chosing me to be the candidate to represent Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency as accountability, transparency and good representation will be my watchword
“My intention is to serve through effective and efficient representation and by bringing the dividends of democracy to the door steps of our people. I truly solicit for your support,my great party Executives, caucuses and party faithfuls to enable me emerge as the candidate for the election”he said.
Responding, APC Lokoja Local Goverment Chairman,Hon. Maikudi Bature thanked the Aspirant for the visit.
The chairman, who described Aguye as a leader who remains committed to the party progress added that as chairman of APC stakeholders in Lokoja , he introduced innovative in leadership, by operating all inclusive government.
Earlier , a motion was moved by Alhja Rajab Yabagi to adopt Aguye as sole candidate and seconded by ward C APC Chairman, Musa Sulaiman
The carnival- like ceremony was attended by Chief of ƙarara, Malam Ismaila Ndako Zakari, three major pressure groups from Kogi local Government: Engineer Bashir Abubakar Gegu Group (E-BAG GROUP),Oricha group and Conscience Group.
Others are; former administrator,Lokoja Local government , Hon Shiru Lawal,Rt. Hon. Abdulrahman Dangana, Former speaker KHA, APC Leaders and stakeholders across the two local governments.
Also in attendance were, Special advisers, APC chieftains,Councilors and women groups among many.
Highlights of the occasion was solidarity messages delivered by members of APC,women groups and other organizations from Lokoja and Kogi local government areas.
