The death has occured of Hajiya Uwa Lawal Jiya, mother of Maiyaki of Lokoja and retired Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Lawal Jiya.
Late uwa passed away at her Unguwan Kawu residence on Friday 8th,April 2022 after a protracted illness.
She survived by Alhaji Ali Lawal, Abdulrahman Lawal and Hadi Lawal , a Chieftain of people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lokoja,and many grand and great-grandchildren.
Funeral prayer for the reposed of late uwa would take place at Unguwan Fawa, burial would follow immediate at Unguwan Kura Muslim cementary Lokoja,by 8am prompt.
May Allah in His Infinite mercies forgive her all her shortcomings and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost. Ameen
