Secretary General of Association Of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Comrade Muhammed Abubakar Ibukun ( BUKKY) on Monday Empowered over 500 women, Students and Primary Schools pupils
The cash disbursement of N10, 000 and ₦5,000 to each beneficiary, was done at the Children’s Amusement Park, Lokoja.
The event was the first of it kind by individual to boost the economic growth of his people through Bukky Educational programs
Speaking while donating Cash to beneficiaries, Bukky said he is irrevocably committed among others to lift vast majority of of his people out of poverty, and “that is what I’m replicating here” he said.
Bukky said beneficiaries should ensure that the scholarship and cash given to women are used for what it is meant for, promising to contribute his quota towards the development of humanity.
On his political ambitious ahead of 2023, Bukky has this to say: “I’m different from others because of my own political background, I know how to play politics and I’m playing it very well.
“By the grace of almighty Allah, we know and understand the networking, and we are on top of the game. For those who have not benefitted, more are still coming and they would go round” he promised.
The occasion was graced by the state commissioner for women Affairs,Hajiya Fatima Buba, members of KOGI AREWA WOMEN in ACTION,politicians and president of Lokoja Local Government student Union.
Highlights of the event includes, presentation of ₦10,000 to petty traders and students while primary school pupils got ₦5,000 each.
