Gwagwalada in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja ,was agog on Friday 11th,March 2022 when Malam Hamza Muhammad Sadau Bichi
gave out his daughter Malama Nana Fatima Sadau Bichi in marriage.
Bichi’s daughter got married to late Malam Abubakar Ola’s son, Alhaji Zakari Baba Abubakar.
The Groom, Alhaji Zakari Baba Abubakar through his representative, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba Ali,paid ₦150,000 as dowry of his bride,Nana Fatima Sadau Bichi
Chief Imam of University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Juma’a Mosque, imam Muhammad Duba presided over the historic wedding Fatiha which begins immediately after juma’a service.
Among other important personalities that attended the grand wedding fatiha included Waziri of Lokoja, Alhaji Abdulrahman Idris,who represented the Maigari of Lokoja,His Royal Highness the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammmadu Kabir Maikarfi 111,Dan Madami of Lokoja,Alhaji Danlami Abubakar,Alhaji Ibrahim Baba Dauda,Coordinating Director Finance and account
(NASENI) Alhaji Hassan Musa.
Members of Kogi State Council of Ulama’u,were also not left out as Alhaji Baba’ango Idris, Malam Tanko Tale represented the council, Chairman Kogi state league of Imam and chief Imam of Unguwan Kura juma’a Mosque, Sheikh Abubakar Adamu, his Secretary,Ustaz Ibrahim Nyass Yusuf Abdallah, Rtd Khadi Muhammad Awwal Sheikh Yusuf Abdallah and the Chairman, Sulaiman Baba Ali Foundation, Alhaji Adams amongst many.
Also in attendence were Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye, Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Job Creation, Small and Medium Enterprises Development,Hon. Tijjani Shehu, Special Adviser to kogi state Govemor on water resources.
Others were politicians,members of the business community, as well as members of the Nigeria Immigration Service and civil defence Corps.
The event, which was also attended by prominent Islamic scholars and other well wishers from across the country, witnessed a large turnout of residents.
Speaking with our reporter,the groom Abubakar,who was visibly overwhelmed with the large turned out,expressed his profound appreciate to all those that graced the occasion.
“Am short of words of appreciation for all those that despite their tight schedules, took time to travelled from far and near to Grace our invitation. On behalf of my darling wife,we thank you all for honouring our invitation,may Allah reward you all” he prayed
