Following the reconciliation efforts to reconcile the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and Presidential Aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Traditional Rulers of Yoruba Lands have met with Aregbesola on Tuesday in Ibadan oyo state capital.
OSUN DEFENDER gathered that the meeting is to resolve the lingering strained relationship between the two prominent Yoruba political leaders- Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the former governor of state of Osun Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
OSUN DEFENDER learnt that the meeting held at a private residence of the Alaafin of Oyo in Ibadan, and lasted for about two hours.
OSUN DEFENDER gathered in attendance were the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as a first step towards finding a lasting reconciliation between the two.
After consultations, the leaders agreed to move to the next stage of the meeting which will be held at a later date.
