Jubilation rocked Budan in Lokoja local government area of Kogi State as the Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, on Thursday commissioned a Health Centre she attracted for the use of the people.
The Minister who was represented by her Special Adviser on Health, Mohammed Ibrahim, was received by the people of Budan led by their Traditional Ruler, the Aganchu of Kakanda, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Gimba
The Primary Healthcare Centre has a fully functional integrated maternity centre to ensure safe childbirth and reduce the incidences of maternal and infant mortality, the facility has an equipped laboratory for tests and a standby ambulance on site at all times. The health centre is fully air conditioned with standby generator sets to ensure uninterrupted power round the clock.
