2023: What Lokoja/Koto Fed Constituency stands to gain with Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye (DSA)

By Iliyasu Zakari

In the words of Jim Ron, “A good objective of leadership is to help those who are doing poorly to do well and to help those who are doing well to do even better.”

Since he made the first attempt to contest, a lot has changed and Hon. Aguye, a personality bestowed with leadership continued to grow. He didn’t become “the pessimist who complains about the wind.” or just an optimist “who expects the wind to change”. As a true leader, he adjusts the sails and today, Hon. Aguye is a shining light and a beacon of hope. A refined gentleman and an embodiment of humility, simplicity with deep knowledge and understanding of what political representation requires.

The bar raised by the late Buba can only be met by a conscious leader and a community development advocate with genuine interest in human development. Hon. Aguye has demonstrated these impeccable characteristics, that is why there is clamour from different communities, youths and women groups for Hon. Aguye to declare for House of Representatives in 2023.

The true mark of a leader is the willingness to stick with a bold course of action, something Aguye has shown over time. As a leader of the APC in Lokoja and Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Aguye has demonstrated beyond words that he is a detribalized leader whose commitment to the downtrodden knows no political or tribal boundary.

The good people of Lokoja/Koto deserves the best hand to ensure the quality representation it deserves and Hon. Aguye fits that bill perfectly.
