Emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, Abubakar Urges Muslims

Secretary-general of Association of Local Government Of Nigeria (ALGON) Hon. Muhammed Ibukun Abubakar (Bukky) has urged Muslims to emulate the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

Abubakar made the called at 4th World Maulud Nabiyi celebration which took place in Lokoja on Saturday.

He advised Muslims ummah to use the occasion to reflect on the life and teachings of the holy Prophet,who preaches unity among Muslims and non Muslims alike.

“We must dedicate ourselves to the teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammad,uphold teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah” Abubakar Said.

He enjoined Muslims, especially Youths to imbibe the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and strive to live with one another in peace and harmony.

The occasion which took place at Muhammadu Buhari Square,has the blessing of Tijjaniya brotherhood followers across the globe.

Those in attended includes: The grand Khalifa of Tijjaniyya worldwide, khalifa Shiekh Muhammad Mahi Niasse,who was represented by Shiekh Muhammad papa Lamin Niasse,Chief host and Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi 11.

Others are: Ambassador of Morroco to Nigeria, Sayyida Ummulhani, Sayyida Hafsat, and Sayyida Rahmatullahi Ibrahim Niasse.
