The calling of my bosom friend Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye accrosed the length and breath of Lokoja /Kogi Federal constituency as their hopeful house of Representatives candidate under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) ahead of 2023 is beyond desperation or what some will view as a practice of taking advantage of any situation or people to achieve an end.
My bosom friend is a refine democrat, that has regard for principle, agreement or consequences and uptill date he still respect and hold the leaders and citizens of his neighboring sister Local Government “KOGI” in high esteem.
And moreso, if by today the leadership of our great party APC, decide to say otherwise “Alhamdulillah” we are ok by it.
However, in writing this piece today, politicians should not just sit at their comfort zone of their room and be waiting for agreement to fall from heaven and manifest becouse it’s obvious that politics is a game in which the only counting variable is interest, no matter how sordid you might look at it becouse it all depend on your standing position at the moment
Meanwhile, our expression of wish to have Hon. Aguye as our next hopeful/ Flagbearer for Lokoja/ Kogi House of representatives come 2023 should not make anyone fill uncomfortable, because he who goes to equity must go with clean hand
On final note, before jumping out to make any statement regarding to the green chamber aspirations, we should endeavor to ask ourselves that are we connected with the current reality and calculation on ground?
