A one-time commissioner of health in Kogi state and chieftain of All progressive Congress (APC), Hon Sulaiman Baba Ali has commiserated with member representing Lokoja / Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Shaba, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Balkisu Sulaiman,Who died on Saturday in her hometown ƙarara.
Ali in a statement in Lokoja on sunday, Ali described the deceased as a great woman from whom great men had descended.
The statement reads in part:”I received with sadness,but with total submission to Allah’s predestination the demised of Hajiya Mother of my brother and member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency,hon. Shaba Ibrahim,whose sad event took place on Saturday.
My heartfelt condolences go to the entire family and the people of Koton Karfe, i beseech Allah to illuminate her grave,forgive her all her shortcomings,grant her Janatur’firdaus and give the families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost” Ali prayed
“I beseech Allah to illuminate her grave, forgive her imperfections, grant Hajiya Maryam al-Jannah Firdaus, and give all the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss,” the governor said.
