Lokoja Consultative Forum (LCF),on Monday in Lokoja,said it was in full support of power shift to Kogi West with particular emphasis on Lokoja,in the 2023 Governorship election.
Secretary -General of LCF, Dr Ahmed Isah Aliyu,stated this in an interview with Newsmen in Lokoja the state capital.
Aliyu said the people of Lokoja are in support of Kogi West producing the next Governor of Kogi state in 2023.
According to him, Lokoja have enough materials, acceptable and capable hands that’ll succeed Governor Yayaha Bello.
“We are in support of Kogi West producing the governor in 2023. We have very many materials in the area.
We have been the most consistent patriotic since the creation of Kogi state in 1991″ Aliyu said
He called on Central and Eastern flanks of the state to support the agitation for fairness, equity and justice.
“This appeal goes to all political parties in the state,we have been consistent in supporting the two Senatorial districts, it’s now time to reciprocate by supporting our agitations come 2023” he said.
The secretary called on the people of the area to come out en mass and participate on the ongoing voters registration.
