VOA Hausa Reporter, Abdulaziz Dies In Accident

The 48-year-old print and broadcast media journalist wrote for several newspapers and presented programmes on local radio stations including  Radio Gotel and FRCN Fombina FM Yola.

The deceased family has confirmed the death, saying Ibrahim and another passenger lost their lives in an accident yesterday. He is survived by an aged mother, three wives and nine children.

A Voice of America (VOA) reporter covering Adamawa and Taraba states, Ibrahim Abdulaziz has died in a motor accident which occurred along the Gombe-Alkaleri road.

The Secretary, Adamawa State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Fidelis Jocthan, expressed sadness over the incident and prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
