The Ohimege Igu of Koton Karfe Kingdom, HRM Alhaji Abdulrasaq Gambo Isah Koto, has urged traditional title holders from the kingdom to use their position wisely towards the development of the kingdom.
The Royal Father made the appealed on Saturday in his palace shortly after he conferred traditional titles to Thirty Seven personalities across the state.
He said that the appointments of the newly crowned title holders are strictly based on their individual commitments in serving humanity.
The monarch further called on his subjects to respect constituted authority.
” I want to used this occasion to called on all of you on the need to respect all the constituted authority, because where there’s no peace there’ll be no development.
For those of you we honored today,we did it base on merit, I urge you all to be good ambassadors of the kingdom” he appealed.
Ohimege announced that the turbaning ceremony of Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu is deffered to a later date to be announce.
Those turbaned include: Hon. Commissioner for Solid minerals and Natural Resources,Engineer Abubakar Bashiru Gegu as Ondaki-Ireki, CSP Muhammed Ibrahim as Makama-Doka of Koton Karfe Igu Kingdom and Kogi state Commissioner of Finance,Alhaji Idris Asiwaju as Turaki of Koton Karfe Igu Kingdom.
Others are: Hajiya ZAINAB Ibrahim as Wakilya, Hajiya Khadijath mama Danjuma as Wakilya and Chief Anthony Ezekiel as Barade,while Ambassador Esther Audu was turbaned as Oju-Umene of Koton Karfe Igu Kingdom among others.
