Marafan Gwandu, Farouk, Ali Ubale Others Attend Daman of Lokoja Daughter’s Wedding

Marafan Gwandu, Alhaji Sambo gwandu and that of Mani in katsina state, Alhaji Ali Ubale, Director of Administration,Lokoja Local Goverment Engineer Danladi Yahaya Farouk,former speaker kogi state house of Assembly,Rt Hon. Ahmed Umar Imam,were among the dignitaries that attended the wedding ceremony of Maimuna Jummai Suleiman and Suleiman Titilope Hassan in Lokoja,Kogi state on Saturday.

The bride was given out in marriage to Sulaiman Titilope with N50,000 as bride price.

The marriage was solemnised according to Islamic rites led by Chief Imam of Lokoja Central mosque, Sheikh Aminu Sha’aban and assisted by other Islamic clerics, while prayers were offered by Chief Imam Of unguwan kura juma’a mosque, Sheikh Abubakar Adamu.

The bride was represented the Chairman of Danko Development Forum,Alhaji Bama Mundi, while the groom was represented byAlhaji Hanafi Hassan, during the solemnisation rite.

Among the personalities that graced the wedding were the families of the groom, members of Danko Development Forum, Alhaji Bala Haruna, Deputy Comptroller of Immigration service, Abdulmajeed Yabagi and a host of others.

Speaking to TheAnalystNG at the end of wedding Fatiha, the Daman Of Lokoja,Alhaji Sulaiman Baba thanked all those that attended the ceremony.

He said Lokoja and the family of the groom have long existing cordial relationship and the present marriage would surely rejuvenate it.

Sulaiman said distance should not be a barrier for youths and incoming generations to consummate marriages, stressing that their forefathers trekked bare footed from far distance to seek for marriage.

He expressed optimism that the marriage between his Daughter and Sulaiman will be a blessing, and prayed for Allah’s protection and guidance over them

Special prayers were conducted by Islamic clerics for peace and unity in Lokoja emirate council.
