The Shatima of Lokoja,Alhaji Muhammad Mabo Kasim,Kogi state Chairman of National Union Of Road Transport Workers ( NUTRW),Comrade Yahaya Ibrahim Oliver on Friday attended the wedding fatiha of late Vice President of NURTW,Late Alhaji Abubakar Tanko Ali’s daughter,malama Rukayyat Abubakar T. Ali and her groom, Barr. Muhammad Inuwa,in Lokoja Kogi state.
The Wedding fatiha of Rukayyat and Inuwa took place around 2.30pm at unguwa Hamza Lokoja.
The wedding proceedings were conducted by the Chief Imam of Lokoja,Sheikh Aminu Sha’aban and supported by Sheikh Abubakar Adamu.
Alhaji Zubairu Inuwa,who stood for the groom,gave ₦20,000 bride price to Alhaji Idris sumasu the wazirin of budon, who represented the bride.
Among those who attended the wedding fatiha included,members of National Union of Road Transport Workers National Headquarters Abuja, Chairman, Abubakar Ola Foundation, Alhaji Zakari Abubakar Ola,Waziri Of Lokoja,Alhaji Abdulrahman Idris Baba Kurum,politicians as well as friends of the groom.
