The Ohimegye Igu of Koton-Karfe and Chairman of Kogi/ Lokoja Council of Chiefs, HRM. Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu has commended the efforts of Distinguished Senator Steve Sunday Karimi for his pivotal role in facilitating the construction of new classroom blocks, administrative blocks and laboratory at the Government Science Secondary School, GSSS, Koton-Karfe.
Acording to the royal father, “This decision marked a vital step towards enhancing educational infrastructure in the senatorial district and reflects the senator’s unwavering commitment to the development of Kogi West.
The monarch made the commendation while THEANALYSTMEDIA crew paid him a courtesy visit shortly after the inspection of the ongoing projects at GSSS Koton-Karfe on Monday.
The Ohimege-Igu expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Senator Karimi, highlighting the importance of the newly built classrooms in fostering a better educational experience for students.
“These new classrooms, laboratory and administrative block will not only enhance the learning environment but also inspire students to achieve their academic goals.”
“Senator Karimi’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure in Kogi West is commendable,” he stated.
In addition to praising the senator’s vision, the Ohimege-Igu expressed satisfaction with the quality of the construction work.
He acknowledged the positive transformations that Senator Karimi’s initiatives have brought to various communities within the senatorial district.
In a related development, the paramount ruler also thanked the All Progressives Congress APC, leader, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba-Ali for recommending that the project to be located at Government Science Secondary School Koton-Karfe.
He prayed Allah to reward the APC leader abundantly.
Recall that GSSS Koton-Karfe was the alma mater of both the monarch and Baba Ali.
