In Continuation of his empowering the Venerable Women in his constituents, the speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf has empowered 120 Vunerable Women with cash for the overall development of the constituency and the state at large.
The lawmaker who was represented by the chairman and the Secretary of the empowering programe Committee,Hon. Yaba abubakar and Hon. Abdulrahman Yusuf Wali respectively distributed the cash to beneficiaries on Sunday in Lokoja.
Wali explained that the money given to each woman was to enable them start small businesses under “Speaker Umar’s Venerable Women Empowerment Programme.”
He called for support and prayers for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration, APC leaders at all levels to enable them to succeed.
The occasion was attended by all the beneficiaries across Lokoja 1 and 2 constituencies.
