The Maigari of Lokoja,HRH Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111 OON, has conferred a traditional title of ‘DAMA OF LOKOAJA’ on Alhaji Sulaiman Baba.
This was contained in a letter of confirmation signed by the monach and made available to TheAnalystNG,on Friday in Lokoja.
According to the letter the Lokoja Local Government Traditional Council under the leadership of His Royal Highness, the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111, decided to confer the title of Dama of Lokoja
on Sulaiman Baba following his good contributions for the development of Lokoja and it people
‘You are by this appointment a member of Lokoja Traditional Title Holders Council and henceforth,your Traditional official greeting is ‘DANIYA’ .
This happy development is the ultimate reward for your selfless devotion to a cause and the climax of a worthy and glorious career .

The Dama of Lokoja , Alhaji Sulaiman who spoke with our reporter thanked the Maigari of Lokoja and the Emirate for the honour given to him and assured the royal father that he would continue to work for the development of the Emirate council and Lokoja in general.
