APC Stakeholders In Ward “A’ Resolve For Stronger Unity, Reaffirm loyalty to Gov. Ododo

Critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Ward A, Saturday reaffirmed their total support and loyalty to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The stakeholders, who made the declaration at a critical meeting organized by the party leaders , political office holders from the area, also pledged their continued commitment to the ideals of the party.

This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting and made available to THEANALYSTMEDIA on sunday in Lokoja.

In his opening remarks, special Adviser to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Corporate Affairs,Hon. Jimoh Fancy ,while welcoming members said the meeting was at the instance of party leaders and stakeholders to reflect and adopt the resolutions of the last meeting.

He maintained further that:
“The resolutions of the last meeting was to referred all matters to the larger house therefore the need to call all stakeholders/leadership, Executives and political appointees to brain storm” he said .

He announced that the leadership crisis within the party leaders over who’ll be Chairman of the forum has been resolved.

Fancy, who read from the resolutions of last meeting further stated that one of the items to be discuss is the suggestion by a party members on the need to split ward A into Ten axis against the present structures.

The APC’s critical stakeholders urged party members to avoid actions that could tarnish the image of the APC and to uphold the unity and solidarity that define Ward A’s political landscape.

Full Text Of Communique Issued At The End Of Ward A APC Leadership/ Stakeholders Meeting Held Saturday, 12th July 2025;

Hon Jimoh Fancy read the motions one after the other as Follows:

A.That do we adopt and agree on maintaining the three zones already existing.

The house unanimously Adopted.

B. Do we agree on the issue of contributing from appointees salary?

The house unanimously agreed with consideration on the part of those collecting monthly Stipends.

C. Creating committee on nominations/ Selection to APC Congresses was Unanimously adopted.

1 The issues of Splitting the ward into Ten axis and new leadership that was referred to stakeholders/ Executives, appointees was not approved.

The resolutions of the house approved that:

(1) The existing Three zones as namely;

Zone A
Zone B
Zone C

Be sustained, includes the existing leaderships forum.

2.The matter of contributing 5% of the appointees salary is adopted and unanimously agreed with amendment to those who are receiving monthly Stipends.

  1. The matter of creating committee on basketing for forthcoming party Congress was unanimously Adopted.
  2. A disciplinary committee consist of Five man is set up to meet with Hon Nda Aaron on his behavior towards the general interest of ward “A” APC chapter”

They also declared total confidence in Gov Ododo’s leadership and charged him to remain focused on the recovery and development of the state.

The APC’s critical stakeholders further reaffirmed Ward A’s position as a Progressive APC Ward and discouraged deviation from the party’s principles and manifesto.

They resolved that Ward A should remain in the APC with no plans for merger or change of political party.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of Lokoja Local Government council,Mrs Patrician Balogun,Hon. Abubakar Sadiq,a.k.a Bala Fadi,
Hon Jibo Ibrahim- Special and Momo Gimba.

Others are : Hon Usman Nda Mohammed,Nasara Abubakar Ola,Hon Fatima Allahday, Hon Fatima Zaraah Shaba and Salihu Abdullahi.

Also in attendance are: Hon. Olorunpomi Folorunsho – Councillor Ward A, Mary Ayedime – Supervisory Councillor,Hon Emmanuel Egamana -COS to Executive Chairman Lokoja LGA.

Those that graced the meeting were Hon Blessing Ogwu – Former Council Leader, Hon Musa Sadiq ,Hon Abubakar Anda and
Hon Musa Sule -Former SSA
Hon Kasim Abdullahi- Former SSA among many.
