Radio Nigeria, NUJ Prime FM, Chapel has inaugurated a Credentials Committee towards conducting another election.
The Committee has Ahmad Mubarak as Chairman, Aisha Muhammed, Vice Chairman while Ohikwo Muhammad will as Secretary.
Inaugurating the Committee members at the Prime FM premises, General Manager, Radio Nigeria Prime FM Lokoja, Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh called for strengthening of the union through regular attendance at congresses and prompt payment of check up dues.
Adeiza who doubles as the NUJ State Council Chairman, appealed for a crisis-free chapel election as he charged the committee members to be fair in their assignment.
Responding, Chairman of the committee, Ahmad Mubarak promised to discharge their responsibility without fear or favor and solicited the support of members to conduct an election that is free from hitch and ranchor.
Earlier, NUJ Radio Nigeria, Prime FM Chapel Chairman, Comrade Olusegun Oyenibi said the aim of the Congress was to constitute the Credentials Committee towards conducting the Chapel’s election.
He disclosed that the current Executives had achieved some feat sought for support from the State Council of the NUJ as well as remittance of twenty per cent financial obligation from the National body of the chapel.
