The Maigari of Lokoja, Chairman Lokoja Local Government Chairman Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, has called on the people of the Emirate to unite in order to have a unity of purpose.
Maigarin Lakwaja made the call while addressing Ardon Birni Of Lokoja, Alhaji Ahmed Adams a.k.a Quincy and his entourage which consists of traditional title holders, religious and political leaders in his palace on Saturday, when they paid him thank you visit.
The Monarch who commended the Ardo Birni over his roles however called on all stakeholders of the Emirate both within and outside to give their fullest support and maximum cooperation to see to the development of the Emirate.
Kabir Maikarfi explained that for the Emirate to achieve its aims and desires for peace and development, all hands must be on deck to work as a team.
Responding, Alhaji Sagir Ahmed, who on behalf of his younger brother,thanked the Maigari for the honoured done to the family of Alhaji Ahmed Bakasonmatsi.
Ahmed who commended Maigari for his leadership role, assured the royal father of their commitments and unalloyed support for the Maigari and Lokoja emirate council in general.
