Member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency, Hon Danladi Sulaiman Aguye on Thursday fagged off 2 km Agbaja Township Road
He said that the 2 km township road
is part of the promised he made during electioneering campaign to the constituents.
Hon. Aguye commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and APC stakeholders for their immense contributions in the development of Agbaja, lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency and kogi state, noting that the project will enhance connectivity, facilitate economic growth, and improve the quality of life for the people in the community.
“For this year 2025, other road projects have been earmarked in Budon, Kupa, koton-karfe and other areas in my federal Constituency, which would be executed”.
Earlier, the Ma’asi of Agbaja, HRH Alhaji Abubakar isah Alugbere appealed to Aguye to look into the dilapidated roads within his domain adding that the township road Will compliment the state government efforts in making Agbaja motorable.
He stated that Aguye’s rural development strides will go down in history as the lawmaker that has changed narratives due to his consistent success in areas such as electrification, education and road construction.
In separate remarks,Director General Bureau of Public Procurement, Barrister Sunday Ehmony on behalf of the communities expressed gratitude to the Hon Danladi Aguye for touching the lives of the people through development strides promised continue support of the community.
Ehmony, who commended the community for their support donated the sum of 500,000 to for the renovation of the abandoned MDGS Clinic in Agbaja.
Representative of D.R.B Construction company, Engineer Sulaiman Wara, assured the community of their commitment to deliver quality projects.
Among the dignitaries that accompanied the Aguye were, Director General Procurement,Barr. Sunday Ehmony, Former house of representing member, Lokoja Kogi federal Constituency,Hon Haruna Isah, Lokoja local government Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu and APC chairman,Hon Maikudi Bature among others.
