Kogi State Coordinator, National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, Engr. Joan Oguche, has emerge the overall best State Coordinator of the Commission in Nigeria.
The award presented to Engr. Joan Oguche, according to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of N-HYPPADEC, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, is part of ongoing efforts by the Commission to foster a culture of excellence and recognize outstanding performances within the Commission.
The National award was presented to Engr. Joan at a well attended N-HYPPEDEC Staff Merit and Productivity Award ceremony held at Hon. Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre Minna.
Making the presentation at the ceremony, the MD/CEO of N-HYPPEDEC, paid glowing tribute to Engr. Oguche, described her as a goal getter who gets things done with teamwork.
The Managing Director described the State Coordinator as one who went beyond board in the discharge of her duties, praised her commitment to excellence.
The Managing Director added that the Kogi State Coordinator has consistently delivered exceptional results in all the responsibilities assigned her, particularly praised her for demonstrating professionalism.
The MD/CEO lauded the Kogi State Coordinator for showing innovation and dedication across all her responsibilities, commended her for making the commission proud in Kogi State and amongst N-HYPPEDEC States with visible and tangible results to show.
While pointing out that Engr. Oguche could not have been able to achieve the result and excellence without being an outstanding team player, praised her for serving as a driving force in fostering collaboration, teamwork as well as offering mutual support to staff that contributed significantly to the teams success in the State.
The Managing Director urged Engr. Joan to sustain the feat of excellence in the coming year, pointing out that the Commission is resolved to make impact on the lives of the people in the coming years.
Speaking after receiving her award, Engr. Joan Oguche, attributed her success to the collective collaboration of the support from the Commission’s headquarters and the staff in the State.
She described the coming of N-HYPPEDEC in Nigeria and Kogi State as a turning point, expressed optimism that the objectives of setting up the commission will in a short time be realized.
