Top Lokoja traditional title holders,and many other dignitaries on Friday stormed Lokoja,to witness the wedding ceremony of the son of late Abubakar Ola,MALLAM ABUBAKAR OLA YUSUF and his beloved wife, MALLAMA ABDULAZEEZ ONIZE ZAINAB
The wedding Rites took place at the Alhaji Ismail Otaru Mosque,fentolu Lokoja.
Malam Abdulsalam Salaudeen gave his daughter,Oniza Zainab to the representative of the groom, Muhammed ya-mala after the payment of N100,000 as dowry
The solemnization ceremony was officiated by a number of leading Islamic clerics led by the chief Imam of Unguwan Kura Juma’a mosque, sheikh Abubakar Adamu .
Among the clerics were Imam Ibrahim Nyass Yusuf Abdullah, Khalifa Ibrahim Etsu Shuiabu Kenchi,Malam Abdulrahman Danladi Kabawa and the chief of imam Ismail Otaru Mosque among others.
Dignitaries at the wedding ceremony includes:the Daman of Lokoja, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba,Rafi of Lokoja and one time permanent secretary , Alhaji Inuwa Shugaba, Shatima of Lokoja, Alhaji Muhammad mabo Kasim and Sadaukin Lakwaja, Alhaji Bama Mudi.
The officiating islamic clerics prayed for the peace and unity of the couples , just as they sought Allah’s guidance for the nation’s leaders.
