Comrade Adamu Vows to tackle Banditry In Lokoja Local Government

The executive chairman of Lokoja Local Government council,Comrade Abdullahi Adamu,on Thursday reiterated his determination to tackle the banditry in the area.

The chairman stated this when Lokoja media professional, led by it chairman,Mr mike Abu paid him a courtesy visit at his office.

Adamu, while welcoming the team, emphasised the establishment of security network across the local government as a crucial to tackle the activities of banditry

” Since we assumed office ,we’ve taken measures as a lasting solutions to banditry. We’re working hard to ensure its success,” he said.

He applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s sustained support for the Lokoja local government and expressed gratitude to the security agencies for their support.

“We appreciate Governor Ododo’s uncommon and sustained support to Lokoja local government. We are grateful to him for always listening to us and taking practical steps towards securing the local government and state in general.

The chairman also highlighted the council’s collaborative efforts with military , police hunters and vigilante c to combat banditry.

“We are working closely with the military, security agencies, and Hunters to tackle t
banditry across the Local Government” Adamu explained.

Adamu reassured kogites of the his commitment to secure Lokoja and environs by ending the pockets of banditry in some areas.

Earlier, Mr Abu informed the chairman that we are in his office to congratulate him on his victory during the last local government election.
