Miss Nollywood international begins partnership with ICPC to fight corruption, stop sexual harassment in higher institution

Miss Nollywood International Queen Hassana Ozohu Salisu, in partnership with the ICPC, is taking steps to fight corruption and advocate for the rights of students being abused by lecturers and staff in higher institutions.

This aligns with one of ICPC’s primary goals of combating corruption in the education sector.

Students are encouraged to report harassment and violations of their educational rights without fear, as Miss Nollywood International has pledged to use her platform to be the voice of students nationwide.

She is committed to seeking justice for students in such situations.

As a result of these efforts, four lecturers from the Federal University Lokoja have been dismissed for misconduct and allegations of sexual harassment by their students.

The university’s governing council approved their dismissal following investigations into examination misconduct and harassment claims.

Miss Nollywood Queen Hassana Ozohu Salisu admonishes students who may be hesitant to approach school authorities due to threats to anonymously contact the Miss Nollywood management team.

They can provide a contact address, information about the accused individuals, and evidence to support their claims. This information can be shared via Facebook, WhatsApp, or email for the management team to take appropriate action.

Miss Nollywood appreciated the governing council of the FUL and the Vice Chancellor for a job well done.

“We must stamp out such act that causes educational backwardness”. she added
