Seven days Fida’u prayers for Sayyida Aminah Sheikh Shuiabu Kenchi and mother of Khalifa Ibrahim (Etsu)sheikh Shuiabu Kenchi, Magajin Garin Lakwaja,is scheduled to take place on Friday 9th, November 2024.
In a statement signed by Magajin Garin Lakwaja, Khalifa Etsu Ibrahim sheikh Shuiabu Kenchi said the prayer will take place at late Sheikh Shuiabu Kenchi zawiyya ( cantonment reside ) by 9 am prompt.
According to the statement,the chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban,would preside over the prayer and will be assisted by Islamic clerics in and outside the state.
Hajiya sayyida Amina Shuiabu Kenchi died last Friday after a brief illness,she survived by many Children includes, khalifa Etsu Ibrahim sheikh Shuiabu Kenchi, grandchildren and many Great-grandchildren.
She has since been buried according to Islamic Rite in Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery,Lokoja ,Kogi state.
May Allah forgive her all her shortcomings, grant her janatul-firdaus, give the families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost,ameen.
