Fraud : Lokoja Command of Kogi State Vigilante Service Arrests 2 Fraudsters

The Lokoja Local Government Command of the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS) continues to make gains with the arrest of two fraudsters who specialise in theft and defrauding POS agents.

The KSVS Commander, Mohammad Zuberu disclosed this shortly after handing over the suspects to the  Police A Division in Lokoja.

The Commander stated that the Command has been on the trails of the suspects for days after receiving complaints from their victims. He noted that the arrest and interrogation of the mastermind, Mustapha Mohammad led the subsequent arrest of his female accomplice, Blessing Sunday in a popular hotel in Lokoja.

During interrogation, the suspects were said to have confessed to defrauding at least three POS businesses in Cantonment, Kpata area and Nataco Junction.

Zuberu commended the Lokoja Local Government Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu for the support and encouragement.

He assured the Chairman that the Command will continue to synergize with the conventional law enforcement agencies to keep Lokoja safe.
