Ahmed Usman Ododo, Kogi state Governor, has appointed Hon. Bala Abubakar Sadiq as his special Adviser on Grassroot Mobilization.
This was disclosed in a letter signed by Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade,secretary to the Kogi state government.
Arike said that the appointment is based on the conviction that Abubakar will serve well and sincerely.
While congratulating him on his appointment and wishing him well, Arike urged the appointee to justify the confidence reposed in him by Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo
Speaking to Newsmen after he received his letter of appointment, Hon.Abubaka
thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve, and assured Ododo that he will serve diligently.
”I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of our state and community. I promise to do my utmost to make you proud,” SA Abubakar said.
Speaking earlier, Speaker of Kogi state House of assembly , Rt.Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf,who received Abubakar and his entourage at his GRA guesthouse,urged the appointee to join the governor in his efforts towards the development of the state.
He congratulated Abubakar whom he said has returned to “his initial Home”
The new appointee was accompanied by APC chieftains includes,Hon. Mabo Kasim,Hon. Sulaiman Babadoko,friends and well-wishers among others.
