The Lokoja International Market Traders Association has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the validation of his election victory by the Supreme Court on Friday.
In a statement jointly signed by Malam Sani Inusa Chairman and Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Dariqa, vice chairman on Saturday, said the news of the supreme court verdict did not come as a surprise because of the massive support the Governor received during the November 2023 governorship Elections from kogites of diverse backgrounds.
He said the affirmation of the mandate clears the path for the governor to settle down in taking Kogi to the highest pedestals without any distractions.
The statement further said; ” On behalf of the entire members of International Lokoja Traders Association,we joined kogites in felicitating with His Execellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo your well deserved victory “
The association assured the Governor of their unflinching support and loyalty as he continues to serve the state with integrity, dedication and uncommon patriotism.
