…Assures Party Leaders, APC Supporters of Impactful and Purposeful leadership

Ahead of October 19th,2024 Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Thursday addressed supporters and party faithfuls at the Lokoja Local government APC Primaries Collation Centre shortly after he emerged the APC party flag bearer in the forthcoming council elections.

This was disclosed by comrade Iliyasu Zakari, Special Adviser on media to comrade Adamu,in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday.
According to the statement Adamu,who was overwhelmed, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for witnessing today which he described as a memorable day.
The APC flagbearer expressed his gratitude to Kogi state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his processor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for the privileged they accorded him to serve the people of Lokoja as Caretaker Transition Committee Chairman.
Comrade Adamu who was presented to the crowd by the Lokoja Local Government APC Chairman. Hon Maikudi Bature and the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly,RT Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, also expressed his immense gratitude to the Party leadership noting that the guidance and support of the Rt. Hon Yusuf, His Excellency Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali, Hon . Sulaiman Babadoko,Hon. Bin Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani, Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye, Hon. Isah Haruna and the Local Government and Ward party Executive ably led by Hon. Bature need to be commendations.
The former Caretaker Chairman also thanked other aspirants who had at one time or the other indicated interest in vying for the position but all rallied round him to emerge unopposed. He assured the crowd of his preparedness and commitment to make a difference when elected in the October 19th, 2024 election.
Comrade Abdullahi Adamu was declared winner of the primaries by Honourable Muhammed Shaba Kupa, the Returning Officer for Lokoja LG having polled a total of 5011 valid votes.
