A leading SDP contender for the Lokoja local government chairmanship seat in October 19th Council polls, Alhaji Idris Abdurahman Sofada, on Wednesday picked his expression of interest and nomination forms under the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Addressing Newsmen at the state party secretariat after he picked his forms, Sofada promised to bring his experience of over 30 years to bear if given the mandate.
“I will operate all inclusive government,women empowerment, youth development, strong educational development, good medicare for the sick and vulnerable people and I will strengthen security of lives and properties in Lokoja local government area” he promised.
The Lokoja Local Government chairmanship hopeful who is known for his humane disposition to people generally promises that Lokoja local government will become the envy of others local governments if given the opportunity to serve come as the council boss.
