Kogi state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on Thursday empowered Hunters in the state With security equipments as part of government’s effort to enhance security in kogi state.
At the handing over ceremony in government House Lokoja, the Governor Ododo said the equipment would assist unconventional security outfits such as local hunters to conduct surveillance and intelligence gathering that would facilitate the work of security agencies in the state.
He explained further that the equipment would assist members of hunters group to reach difficult terrains.
He commended the leadership of the groups for their sacrifices, commitment and support to the security agencies in the state.
