The Caretaker Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has felicitated with the Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Usman Ogbo over the reappointment for Second Term by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Chairman in a Press statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Iliyasu Zakari on Monday in Lokoja,said Prof. Ogbo’s achievements are clearly visible and deserving of the reappointment for another four years term at the helms of affairs of the Institution.
The boss congratulated the Ogbo for the well deserved reappointment.
The statement reads in part: “The renewal is a reward for hard work and the visible progress in both infrastructures and improved Academic standard. I have no doubt he will continue to grow the institution.”
He explained further that the synergy between the Institution and the local government council would be maintain stressing that: “The Rector has contributed immensely to bringing sanity and security, not only within the institution but the neighbouring Polytechnic Community,” Adamu said
He prayed to Allah to continue to guide the Rector as he began a new journey.
