Cigarin Lakwaja Greets Muslims On Edi-Kabir Anniversary

Cigarin Lakwaja, DCP Ahmed Sanusi,has extended his warmest congratulations to His Royal Highness the Maigarin Lakwaja and Chairman of Lokoja local government traditional council, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, members of Lokoja traditional title holders on the occasion of Edil-Adha

A statement signed by Cigari, that was made available to THEANALYST in Lokoja, on Sunday said “Festival of Sacrifice” is a celebration of faith, obedience, and devotion.

He describe the important of the festival as a day to commemorate the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah’s command.

Sanusi further sated that “As we mark this significant event in the Islamic calendar, Lokoja community should acknowledge the values of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity that are embodied in the spirit of Eid al-Adha”.

He called on Muslim ummah on the need to recognize the importance of this occasion in promoting unity, love, and harmony among our community regardless of our religious beliefs or backgrounds, and these lessons according to him: “should bring us closer together in our march to attain brotherhood.”

“As we celebrate Eid al-Adha, we should also remember those who are less fortunate and those affected by the current challenges in our country by extending love in solidarity and support for one another.” the statement concluded
