The National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has commenced, just as President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as well as governors and National Assembly principal officers are in attendance.
The meeting, which is holding at the Executive Council chambers of the State House, has Goverrnors of Nasarawa, Niger, Jigawa, Pleateau, Imo, Kogi , Yobe , Gombe , Osun , Ogun, Lagos , Kwara, Kebbi, Kano and Ekiti in attendance.
Also present are Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege; Deputy Speaker Idris Wase; House Leader, Hassan Dogowa and the Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnenna Ukeje
Recall that the factional acting National Chairman of the APC, Victor Giadom, had summoned the meeting to address the lingering crisis rocking the party.
Mr Giadom is recognized by Mr Buhari as the acting national chairman of the party.
