kogi state Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has held a special prayer session for the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the general well being of the people of Kogi State.
In an introductory remark at the event held on Wednesday at JNI Secretariat Masjid in Lokoja, the State Chairman of JNI, Ambassador Usman Bello called for consistent prayers for the Governor and people in positions of authority to enable them succeed.
The Chief Imam of JNI Masjid, Sheikh Usman Tauheed, who led the session, called on Muslims to always support leaders with prayers . He commended Governor Ododo for taking off well, adding that Allah remains his strength.
In a vote of thanks, the Secretary of JNI in the State, Alhaji Isa Adeboye thanked Islamic Scholars for always responding promptly to JNI’s invitation in the interest of the State and its Leadership and urged them to sustain the tempo.
The Special prayer session which was held at JNI secretariat mosque in Lokoja, was attended by scholars from the Three Senatorial Districts of the State.
