Kogi APC Integrity Group Lokoja ( Branch) says Kogi state executive governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,
deserves commendation over his excellent performance in office within first 100 days
This was disclosed by the coordinator of Kogi APC Integrity group,Hon . Yusuf Alabi in a press conference in Lokoja on Wednesday.
He said the forum after taken critical look at governor’s performance in all sectors of the economy within the period under review derseve commendations adding that “ododo’s achievements in all sectors of the economy have given him a pass mark” he said.
Alabi commended Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency APC leader,Hon Sulaiman Baba Ali,the speaker Kogi state House of assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu umar Yusuf , And e commissioner in charge of water resource, Engineer Muhammed Danladi Yahaya Farouk ,Member representing Lokoja Kogi federal Constituency,Hon Suleiman Danladi Aguye for their commitments towards the development of kogi state.

Members of the third Estate of the realm Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Kogites, we members Of APC integrity group Lokoja Chapter, wish to felicitate with His Excellency the executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the good people of Kogi State on His 100 days in office.
We congratulate His Excellency for making giant and salient strides for a greater and united Kogi State. We are proud to be associated with the government as steps taken are in consonance with our motivation to support him during the electioneering period.
We have seen commitment in Kogi State and Lokoja in particular as such we deem it fit to congratulate His Excellency of in his 100 day
in office. We observed the following areas and is indeed worthy of commendation thus far:
STAFF WELFARE: In the area of local government staff we appreciate the considerable improvement in their salaries.
The staffers are has happy on the prompt payment salary within the period under review,as pensioners have since heaving signs of relief.
We however urge the Governor to look into the promotion of
workers and cash backing as necessary.
Mention must be made of last workers day celebration where workers trooped out enmass and happy that the governor was present and emphasised government/union cordial relationship. Kogi,a civil servants state when government and workers are in understanding the economy will be improve.
SECURITY : We appreciate His Excellency’s response to making security a priority, Mention must be made on the government intervention to the
incessant cases of Robbery in Felele and envisions and restoring normalcy, peace and security in the area. Kudos also goes to the chairman for working towards achieving this feet. Mention must be made about the procurement of operational vehicles to assist vigilante and security agents in combating crime and Criminality in the state. More efforts are expected to make Lokoja and Kogi state more safer than now.
WATER : The perennial of water scarcity in Lokoja and environ is receiving great attention as in the last few weeks the taps are running again. Though not at full capacity we belief in a very short while normalcy shall be restored.
I permit me to use this medium to appeal to his Excellency to make water scarcity a thing of the past and with our brother the workaholic commissioner for water Resources, engineer Muhammad Danladi Yahaya Farouk we are confidence is achievable.
ROADS: His Excellency has made it a responsibility as his “tour of duky” to regularity and personality inspect ongoing road projects in metropolis, worthy to mention is the continuing work going on, on Lokoja/Kabba junction road and the Zones 8, crusher road which been yearning for attention over the years. This road is important it’ll ease congestion in Lokoja metropolis when completed
We are sure soon the inter- roads will also receive the attention of our workaholic governor.
EDUCATION : Worthy of note and commendation is the award of Bursary to Kogl State indigenes studying in various higher institutions across the country. This is a phenomenon that looks alien to Kogi State people after years of absence of bursary for students, equally more worthy of mention is that of our children currently writing WAEC whose expenses is all taken care of by the government, which brought a lot of relief to families in face the current challenge of livelihood.
SANITATION
Though more desired to be done we see and appreciate government effort in keeping Lokoja clean by clearing of drainages and refuse, Refuse disposal is a problem worldwide, we urge the government to implore all legislative and persuasive avenues to make citizen conscious of refuse disposal.
As we congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, it is also worthy to appreciate APC leader in Lokoja / Kogi federal Constituency, Hon. Suleman Baba Ali for demonstrating leadership quality. And for making us belief that we can trust his Excellency on his promise of an “urban Lokoja”.
Also we appreciate former Deputy Governor of Kogi state,H.E Yomi Awoniyi for encouraging us from west senatorial District that there is need to work with central for the west to have their turn of Governance. We appreciate our dear brother, the speaking speaker, who believes that every Lokoja man/woman is important as every Kogi State man. A grassrooter and goal getter the “BADAKWOSHI” of Lokoja, Rt Hon Umar Aliyu Yusuf, thank you for keeping fate in us.
Also Mention must be made of our representatives in government our member representing Lokoja 1, Hon Tijani Ebaiya, Hon Danladi Suleman Aguye ,member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal constituency, our capacity
The transition Chairman in charge of Lokoja Local Government,Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, our dear and purposeful result oriented commissioner, Engineer Muhammad Danladi Yahaya Farouk , Hon Engineer Saqir Abdulsalam and our indefatigable party chairman, Hon Maikudi Bature, we congratulate us all. We believe in your capacities to deliver.
We believe a journey of thousand miles begins with a step. His Excellency Ahmed Ododo shall overcome all obstacles and governance
shall be for the benefit of all our Governor Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo cardinal believes is that government is ‘SERVICE TO HUMANITY
