Kogi Assembly Service Commission Chairman Mourns the death of John Abah

Chairman of Kogi State Assembly Service Commission,Alhaji Abdulmalik Andas has expressed shock over the death of Hon. John Abah,member representing Ibaji State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, describing it as an ‘incalculable loss’ to the people of Ibaji and state as a whole.

Andas,in a statement made available to journalists, eulogised the late lawmaker as a through representative of his constituent,who was dedicated to the development of Kogi State and welfare of his constituents.

“I join the government, Rt. Hon Speaker Mathew Kolawole,Clark of the House, Alhaji Amoka on behalf of the entire members of the Commission in mourning our brother and Member representing Ibaji State constituency, Hon.John Abah,who died Wednesday.

The statement reads: “unril his demised Hon. Abah was a very enterprising Member , who saw politics as a way of furthering his service to his people and the state as he was committed to humanity.

“He was a courageous and promising leader, who always stood up for what is right and just. He was unassuming and very much at home with the people, especially his constituents.

“This is, therefore, an incalculable loss, not only to the people of Ibaji Constituency and the State, but also to the nation as a whole, for we have lost a priceless gem,” Andas said.

The Chairman prayed God to forgive him all his shortcomings and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.
