Kogi state commissioner for water Resources, Engineer Muhammad Danladi Yahaya Farouk has paid condolence visit to the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir over the death of Hajiya Shafa’u Adoke Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi,wife of late Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Muhammadu Kabiru Maikarfi 111.
Farouk who was at the Maigari’s Palace in Lokoja, encouraged the HRH Maigarin Lakwaja to remain steadfast in God knowing that the deceased lived a good life.
He said death was a test from God and that though it came with pains, condolence visit helps in reducing the pains of separation.
According to him, death is a necessary end to all mortals and that “everyone has his own day, we will all go.”
In a similar development,the Shatali of Lokoja, Alhaji Bala Haruna who was accompanied by Sadaukin Lakwaja and chairman of Danko Development Forum , described the death of Hajiya Adoke as a great loss not only to the royal family but to the entire lokoja community.
He prayed for the reposed of late Adoke to rest in janatul-firdaus.
“May Allah forgive Hajiya Adoke all her shortcomings, grant the families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost” Shatali prayed
