•••As Family Organises Fida’u Prayer For Late Hajia Uwa

Unguwan Kura in Lokoja local government,on Sunday was filled to capacity as lawyers ,Judges,Khadis and staff of Kogi state judiciary attended the seven day Fidau prayer for the mother of Barr Usman Muhammad,a director in Ministry of justice of kogi state.
The chief Imam of Lokoja central mosque, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Shaban led some Islamic Scholars includes ,the.chief Iman of Unguwan Kura Juma’a mosque, Sheikh Abubakar Adamu,,officially conduct the fidau prayers which took place at Dan Kano Mosque, Unguwan Kura, Lokoja.
In an interview with newsmen at the end of the prayers, Barr. Usman Muhammad who spoke on behalf of the family said the deceased was a pious mother whose life was dedicated to Allah and service to humanity, he therefore prayed that Allah should accept her in aljanat.
According to him, “my late mother was a great woman who stood for honesty and integrity. She brought us up with the fear of God and was kind and accomodating to everyone regardless of which part of place you came from. She has left a great legacy indeed. May her soul rest in peace”, he prayed.
He also described her mother’s death as inevitable and urged believers to believe in the last day, he urged Muslims to emulate Hajiya Uwa, who he said was a virtuous woman.
Among the personalities in attendance are: the Lokoja party chairman of APC, Hon. Maikudi Bature, several lawyers and judges from the High and federal courts in lokoja.
