Ward D Community Nabs Alleged Suspected Thief, hands over To State Vigilante Service

A 33-year-old man, Hassan Salihu,has been handed over to the operatives of Kogi State Vigilante Service, Lokoja local government Command for allegedly stealing electrical appliances worth thousands of Naira in unguwan Kura, ward D, Lokoja local government area of Kogi state.

Theanalyst gathered that the suspect, who resides at kwakwa Tophill unguwan Kura Street, Lokoja, was nabbed by some youths members of the community and handed over to Vigilante officer Muhammed Ghadafi attached to Kogi state vigilante service, Lokoja.

Aminu Hassan and three others accomplices now at large, were alleged to be buyers of stolen properties.

Confirming the arrest, Hakimi of ward D, Isah Baba Nasidi, said the arrested suspect was a member of syndicates terrorising the community.

“We want to appeal to the public to be very alert to when people come around that they want to rent in your house, usually they end up stealing like Salihu who spent three months in the community and operate in over three houses” Nasidi said.
