Lokoja Indigenous Publishers mourns Bashir Gegu’s father

•Says a Patriarch of Religion knowledge, wisdom is gone

The Lokoja Indigenous Publishers Forum have described Late Imam Abubakar Umar Gegu, father of the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engr Bashiru Abubakar Gegu as a natural leader with passion for peace and unity.

The Members of Lokoja Indigenous Publishers Forum made the disclosure at Gegu Beki, during a condolence visit to the Family of the deceased.

The Publishers were led by the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Amuda Dan Suleiman, described the late Late Imam Abubakar Umar Gegu as a man of peace, expressed appreciation with the testimony of a life well lived by the patriarch.

Speaking on behalf of the Forum, Abu Michael, Publisher, Nigerian Post Newspaper, urged the family members the late patriarch left behind to take solace in his good deeds while alive.

The Forum particularly praised the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engineer Bashir Gegu, for standing tall in service to humanity, described him as a worthy son of a patriarch who lived life of emulation.
