The event is scheduled to begin by 9am prompt: HRH the Maigari of Lokoja will depart the palace along with his entourage — palace guards, security operatives, esteemed dignitaries and well wishers.
10am prompt: presentation of staff of office to HRH the Maigari of Lokoja by his Excellency, the Governor of Kogi state Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
-Acceptance speech by HRH the Maigari of Lokoja.
11am-12pm: Cultural display and traditional dance at the government house.
–12pm prompt: HRH the Maigari of Lokoja leaves for his palace.
–1:35pm prompt: HRH the Maigari of Lokoja leaves His palace to Lokoja central mosque. (Whether by foot or Vehicle depends on the input and recommendation of the security committee).
After Jumma’at prayers, HRH the Maigari of Lokoja departs to the palace.
4:15pm prompt: HRH the Maigari of Lokoja leaves the palace for the venue of the grand reception — Reverton hotel.
The program will be for 2hours 4:15pm to 6:15pm (putting into cognizance the time for salatul magrib)
