The Matawalle Arewan Nupe Kingdom and Gabi sayadi of Lokoja, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba Ali, has congratulated the new Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi.
In a congratulatory message sent to THEANALYST in Lokoja, on Monday said he believes the new Maigari will bring to bear his experiences and exposure in the discharge of his duties.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain also expressed optimism that the new traditional ruler of Lokoja will be a good custodian of traditional values and rich heritage of Lokoja traditional institutions and the community in general.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his foresights and peaceful resolution of traditional institutions in the state and assured him of the unalloyed support of Lokoja community.
Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir is the 4th Maigari of Lokoja. He succeeds late Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Kabiru Maikarfi who died on in September September, 2022.
